PRSA Idaho announces 2008 Board of Directors
BOISE, Idaho- (Jan. 14, 2008) -- Idaho’s chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced recently its new board of officers for 2008. The newly elected board will be led by President Georganne Benjamin, who is the assistant director of strategic communications for Regence Blueshield of Idaho. Benjamin also serves as vice president on the board of directors for the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. Benjamin will bring fresh ideas and years of strategic communication experience to the office of president for PRSA Idaho. “The Idaho chapter of PRSA continues to grow and expand and we’re excited about the year ahead,” said Benjamin. “With BSU’s communication program developing, and the start of its student chapter of PRSSA, it’s a great opportunity to begin building the relationships between the student and professional chapters. This is an exciting time in the communication profession and we look forward to providing learning opportunities and resources in order to advance both professional and student PR strategists.”
