Brennan Summers is a seasoned policy strategist and executive leader with a career spanning federal service, the private sector, and state government. As Chief Government Affairs Officer for the Idaho Department of Education, Brennan directs legislative strategy and advances Superintendent Debbie Critchfield’s vision for Idaho’s K–12 education system. In this role, he also works closely with the Idaho Indian Education Committee and oversees the Department's policy coordination with the Department of Lands and the State Board of Land Commissioners.

Prior to joining the Department, Brennan served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Stukent, an industry-leading edtech firm. There, he drove strategic growth initiatives and expanded digital curricula designed to prepare students for the modern workforce.
