APR Info Session

Interested in earning your Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) or learning more about the process? Idaho PRSA members are invited to join the Oregon PRSA APR Preparation Class, which begins with an orientation session that provides an overview of the APR process, answers common questions and introduces the subsequent classes. The class will be taught virtually and is free for PRSA Idaho members.

The first orientation class starts on Thursday, September 17 from 5-7 p.m. MST and will continue on subsequent Thursdays through November 19, 2026

Whether you are ready to begin your APR journey or simply want to explore the process, the orientation session is a great opportunity to learn more and ask questions. While the Universal Accreditation Board recommends at least 5 years of public relations or communications experience before taking the APR examination, professionals with less experience are encouraged to attend the class and begin preparing for future accreditation.

To sign up, email Carol Fenstermacher, APR, at fenstermachers@comcast.net and provide:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Job title

  • Employer

  • Number of years of public relations/communications experience
