PRSA IDAHO APPOINTS JULIE FOGERSON AS CHAPTER PRESIDENT
BOISE, Idaho — June 23, 2025 — The Idaho Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Idaho) has announced that Julie Fogerson, an experienced board member of nearly eight years, will serve as chapter president.
“I’m delighted to lead PRSA Idaho as we embark on this exciting new chapter,” said Fogerson. “Building on the chapter’s recent achievements, increasing membership and delivering consistent, quality programming—I’m eager to work with our board to drive our initiatives forward and foster a vibrant, engaged community of communications and marketing professionals in Idaho.”
Fogerson will be responsible for the overall management of the chapter and board of directors. She started her career at agencies in Seattle and New York, primarily serving technology accounts such as Microsoft. She spent eight years as a regional communicator for Wells Fargo, covering internal and external communications for 12 markets.
Currently, Fogerson manages her own consulting business and is an adjunct professor at Bryan University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Hawaii Pacific University, and both a master’s degree in negotiation and dispute resolution and a doctorate in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University.
She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations in 2017 and is a graduate of the Leadership Boise program.
Fogerson’s appointment comes during an exciting time for PRSA Idaho. In the last two years, the chapter has appointed regional chairs to help it expand in North Central and Eastern Idaho. The chapter has more than doubled in size and in 2024, was recognized as the fastest-growing PRSA chapter in its size category.
